The grapes ripen at an altitude of 1100 meters. Their DNA goes back to 1853, when an Italian immigrant brought vines from France and planted them. The current vineyard with 10 hectares was created in 1910. Very small production quantity of one bottle per two vines. The wine matures for 12 months in new French barriques and 12 months in the bottle.
Deep dark red opaque color, full body, velvety texture with fine tannins, complex, aromatic with a long finish.
Marcelo Pelleriti and Miguel Priore have formed a partnership to combine wine knowledge, wine vision and economic efficiency. Their big goal is to convince the wine world beyond Argentina with Gran Cru wines.
Marcelo Pelleriti is one of the greatest winemakers in Argentina, who manages to tame the acidity of the Malbec grape. His wines all have a fine texture with velvety, well-integrated tannins. He knows how to bring terroir and fruit into the bottle. His wines are complex, full and aromatic.
